Should I include any additional documents when mailing the credit repair forms?Updated 3 days ago
Yes. You may include additional supporting documentation with your dispute submission if it helps validate your case.
For example, if you have been a victim of identity theft, you may include supporting documents such as:
• A police report
• Any previous identity theft affidavits you may have completed
• Other documentation that supports your claim
Your submission package should include the following required documents:
• A copy of your Credit Repair Template or Student Loan Template
• A copy of either the Identity Theft Affidavit or the Affidavit for Inaccurate Credit Reporting
• Two forms of identification
You may also attach any additional supporting documents that help validate your dispute.
Be sure to prepare three complete copies of your submission, as you will need to send one set to each credit bureau: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.
